Co-founders, Jillian and Shannon officially launch Idea Learning, March 17 in their home offices. Company headquarters move to a co-working space in downtown Portland OR.

Company headquarters move to the NuMiss building, located in North Portland.
2012
Company headquarters move to a larger space in the Montgomery Park building in Northwest Portland. Cafeteria Learning® is introduced at the ATD Cascadia Conference. Idea Learning is a presenter at the ATD Puget Sound Conference. Collaborative Learning Network (CLN) in Portland OR is formed.
2013
The Cafeteria Learning brand is unveiled. Idea Learning is a presenter at the North American Simulation and Gaming Association (NASAGA) Conference, the Western Region Research Conference on the Education of Adults (WRRCEA) Conference, and the local Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Chapter Conference.
2014
Idea Learning is ranked #62 on Oregon & S.W. Washington's Fastest-Growing Private Companies list. Jillian facilitates Fundamentals of Training – Presentation Skills for ATD Cascadia Chapter.
2015
Jillian is the chair of the ATD Cascadia Board Nomination Committee. Idea Learning becomes an official sponsor of ATD Cascadia Chapter. The rebrand and identity of Idea Learning is launched. Idea Learning is a presenter at the ATD International Conference & Expo, the SHRM Diversity & Inclusion Conference, the ATD Kansas City Conference, the L&D Professionals of Greater Philadelphia, and the Oregon Health Care Association Expo. TD Magazine publishes Writing Choice-Based Learning Objectives. Jillian is a committee member of the ATD International Conference & Expo Program Advisory Committee and continues to facilitate Fundamentals of Training – Presentation Skills for ATD Cascadia Chapter.
