The Healthforce Center at UCSF needed to augment their Pharmacy Leadership Institute curriculum with an engaging in-person workshop. The Pharmacy Leadership Institute assists pharmacists in developing managerial and leadership skills to meet the challenges they will face in the emerging health care system.
Through experiential activities, participants:
- identify potentially politically charged situations and consider appropriate responses
- explore how to influence up and identify behaviors that demonstrate the vision of unified, consistent, quality care
- apply the skills learned to influence their teams to provide unified, consistent, quality care by leading engaging meetings when they’re back on the job
