Virginia Mason Memorial has five, clearly defined Organizational Values, but needed a way to further integrate the values into the work of their clinical staff, non-clinical staff, and leaders.
Through a series of collaborative activities, clinical and non-clinical staff:
- explore each organizational value
- review examples of value-based behaviors
- create personalized plans to demonstrate the values in their work
Leaders are provided with an Integration Guide that suggests team interactions to further the connection of the values to their work.
Yakima has always been a community where people help people. Where people put others first. By working together, this community has helped Memorial create and build vital programs and facilities to meet their community's needs.
